Mermay - Amethyst

My very first #mermay drawing, yay! I didn't really know what I wanted to draw, but my friend suggested Amethyst from Steven Universe. I'm also thinking of drawing Jasper, and Lance from Voltron. And no, I will try to draw other than just fan art, but it's so fun to draw random characters as merfolk, hahah. 

I used ProMarkers, although I think I must have drawn on my marker paper upside down, because the ink was acting really weird, almost like watercolours, which you can see on the random blobs I drew, trying to figure out what was going on with my markers. But I kinda liked it, and I could just use my fingertip for blending the colours together, when the ink dried slower. I'm really pleased with how it turned out.
